This year, your child will:
• Add and subtract one and two digit whole numbers without regrouping and apply to word problems
• Use and identify numbers up to and including 1,000
• Count by 2’s, 5’s, 10’s and 25’s past 100
• Identify and make exchanges in place value for ones, tens, and hundreds
• Will compare and describe fractions of whole to halves, thirds, and fourths
• Will tell time using a calendar, a digital clock, and an analog clock to the hour and half-hour
• Identify and use the penny, nickel, dime and quarter
• Estimate length using standard units
• Identify, reproduce, extend and rename patterns
• Compare, contrast, and sort geometric shapes
• Label and organize information into a graph
